Adams Levine was named the sexiest man alive by People’s magazine and according to scientists. Dr Helen Fisher, an anthropologist at Rutgers University who studies love and attraction, told Live Science that the Maroon 5 frontman has ‘stereotypically masculine features’, including a square jaw, high cheekbones and thin lips, which both men and women are drawn to. ‘Look at that jaw, it really juts out on the side,’ she observed. ‘His brow ridges are such that he could probably stand in the shower and keep his. eyes open.’ She said men with masculine faces and higher testosterone levels tend to have a better immune system and stronger sex drives. Dr Lisa DeBruine, a psychologist at the University of Glasgow’s Face Lab in Scotland, who studies the psychology of attractiveness, also deemed the six-foot-tall Mr Levine a perfect specimen, with a mix of ‘symmetrical’ features that aren’t too big or small.

According to a report going round, Last week more than 30 trucks filled with 5-cent coins arrived at Apple’s headquarters in California. Initially, the security company that protects the facility said the trucks were in the wrong place, but minutes later, Tim Cook (Apple CEO) received a call from Samsung CEO explaining that they will pay $1 billion dollars for the fine recently ruled against the South Korean company in this way. The funny part is that the signed document does not specify a single payment method, so Samsung is entitled to send the creators of the iPhone their billion dollars in the way they deem best. This dirty but genius geek troll play is a new headache to Apple executives as they will need to put in long hours counting all that money, to check if it is all there and to try to deposit it crossing fingers to hope a bank will accept all the coins. Lee Kun-hee, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, told the media that his company is not going to be intimidated by a group of “geeks with style” and that if they want to play dirty, they also know how to do it. You can use your coins to buy refreshments at the little machine for life or melt the coins to make computers, that’s not my problem, I already paid them and fulfilled the law. A total of 20 billion coins, delivery hope to finish this week. Samsung has since debunked this news on their website…

Hugh Jackman was recently treated for skin cancer. The Wolverine star shared the news on Thursday, posting an Instagram photo of his bandaged nose (see right) and explaining to fans what had happened after his wife Deborra-Lee Furness urged him to visit a doctor. He wrote, “Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right! I had a [basal] cell carcinoma. Please don’t be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!” Basal cell carcinomas, typically caused by intense UV exposure, are rarely life-threatening, but can be disfiguring and destructive to tissue if left untreated. We’re glad to hear Jackman got his checked out

A Boeing 737-500 airliner has crash landed in the Russian city of Kazan, killing all 50 people on board. The Tatarstan airlines flight from Moscow was trying to abort its landing in order to make a second approach, but it exploded when it struck the runway. Some 44 passengers and six crew members on board were killed, according to emergency officials. The plane took off from Moscow's Domodedovo airport at 6.25pm local time and crashed just over an hour later. According to eyewitness reports, the Boeing lost altitude quickly and its fuel tank exploded on impact. There were high winds and cloudy skies over the airport in central Russia at the time of the crash. Boeing officials at the Dubai Airshow declined to comment on the crash. The flight was operated by the regional Tatarstan airline, according to a spokeswoman from Russia's Emergencies Ministry. Kazan, which is 500 miles east of Moscow, is the capital of the oil-rich region of Tatarstan. A new runway was built at the airport ahead of the World Student Games, held in the city earlier this year. A spokesman for state aviation oversight agency Rosaviatsia said authorities would search for the flight recorders. "The plane touched the ground and burst into flame," Sergei Izvolsky said. "The cause of the crash as of now is unknown." Russia and the former Soviet republics combined had one of the world's worst air-traffic safety records in 2011, with a total accident rate almost three times the world average, according to the International Air Transport Association. IATA said last year that global airline safety had improved but that accident rates had risen in Russia and the ex-Soviet Commonwealth of Independent States. In April 2012, at least 31 people were killed when a Russian passenger plane crashed shortly after take-off in Siberia.

It looked like they were giving things another go when they were snapped together at Kanye West's gig together earlier in the week. But it seems that the reconciliation didn't last long for Khloe Kardashianand husband Lamar Odomas the reality star posted a cryptic message about 'letting go' the day after the NBA star was reportedly spotted 'getting wasted.' According to TMZ, the troubled sportsman was spotted getting drunk in an LA nightclub on Wednesday, just days after his reunion with the Kardashian family, despite previously admitting to being clean. [ Lamar Odom insists that his marriage to Khloe Kardashian in 'unbreakable'] [ Kris and Bruce Jenner play happy families for day out despite split] An eyewitness told them: ''In short order Lamar was hanging at the bar doing shots of Patron. For the next three hours, Lamar could not be seen without a glass of champagne.'' The source adds that Lamar stayed until Beacher's House club in Hollywood shut at 2am and looked 'hammered.' And it seems like wife Khloe wasn't best pleased with his antics, as she posted a pretty large hint on Instagram that she was ready to move on. Scary when people believe their own lies. — Khloé (@KhloeKardashian) October 31, 2013 Act as if you trust people.... But know you can only trust yourself. I control my destiny — Khloé (@KhloeKardashian) October 31, 2013 The quote, attributed to Buddha, read: ''In the end, only three things matter: How much you loved, how gently you lived and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.'' Hmm - think we might just know what she's referring to. And Khloe didn't leave it there, jumping on her Twitter account to post another string of thinly-disguised messages. One read: ''Act as if you trust people.... But know you can only trust yourself. I control my destiny.'' Later she wrote: ''Delusions make me dizzy,' followed by: ''Scary when people believe their own lies..'' While neither Khloe or Lamar have officially spoken out about the state of their marriage, it was assumed that they were going to giving it a go after looking pretty cosy at Kanye's concert. Lamar was even accepted back into the high profile family, who were said to be 'supporting him' through his battle with drink and drugs

Veteran BBC broadcaster Paul Gambaccini has been arrested on suspicion of historical sexual offences. He was held at his home in south London on Tuesday morning as part of Scotland Yard's Operation Yewtree. The radio presenter, whose broadcasting career spans 40 years at the BBC, answered questions in police custody before being released on bail. A BBC spokesman said Gambaccini denies the allegations against him. "Paul Gambaccini has decided that, in light of [Friday's] media attention, he would rather not be on-air at present and we respect that decision," he said. "Therefore, Paul will not be presenting on BBC Radio in coming weeks and replacement programmes for the period will be announced soon." Yewtree has been investigating claims of historical sexual offences since the Jimmy Savile scandal broke last year. Scotland Yard detectives have run the investigation in three strands - allegations involving Savile, those involving Savile and others, and those involving others. Gambaccini was arrested under the strand known as "others", meaning the arrest is not connected to the Savile inquiry. The DJ, one of Britain's foremost authorities on music, hosts a weekly show on BBC Radio 2. He is the 15th person arrested under Yewtree and was bailed until January. The presenter was highly vocal last year in the wake of Savile's years of sexual abuse being made public, and said it was known among BBC staff that the late presenter targeted vulnerable, "institutionalised" young people. A 16th person - a 74-year-old who has not been named - was arrested at a separate address in south London on Tuesday, and also bailed until January.

A terminally-ill youngster given weeks to live has had his wish of one more Christmas fulfilled - after his local town celebrated the festive season almost two months early. Devin Kohlman, 13, has been battling brain cancer for more than a year, with his family told he may not survive beyond next month. And with the youngster hoping to see one more Christmas, residents in Port Clinton, Ohio, decked out the streets with decorations and sang carols to grant Devin his festive wish. Rather than dress for Halloween this week, thousands in Port Clinton banded together to decorate the streets of Devin's town with snowmen, fake snow and Christmas lights. Hundreds also gathered outside Devin's home this week dressed in Santa hats to sing 'Jingle Bells' and 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas' to the cancer-stricken teen. Several tons of shaved ice was used to mimic drifting snow outside his window, as people -- many of them strangers -- stood outside his home with candles in hand. The crowd said a prayer for Devin before Santa and an elf arrived to help cheer the dying youngster. Since the weekend, dozens of volunteers have been decorating a park near Devin's home with reindeer, snowmen and holiday lights so he can enjoy the scene from his window. Devin was released from hospital in Cincinati on Sunday so he could spend the next few weeks with his family. He is not expected to live for more than a few weeks after doctors told him his chemotherapy isn't working against his aggressive form of brain cancer. Port Clinton Mayor Vincent Leone said he was 'overwhelmed' by the response of the community. He said: 'We wanted to make sure that [Devin] knew he had the support of his community – that we really cared about him. 'We are not unique to any other small town. I think in small towns you always have that closeness, everyone pretty much knows each other.'
